Derek Hartman is an American pianist and educator currently based in Nashville, TN. He was the winner of the 17th International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna, and he serves as Lecturer of Piano at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University. He holds degrees from the Yale School of Music and the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University.
